This expansion is not only fueling record levels of ethanol blending in petrol (approaching 20% nationwide) but also catalyzing a shift toward alternative feedstocks such as maize, surplus rice, and cellulosic agri-residues. As India eyes higher blend mandates and explores new frontiers such as Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) via Alcohol-to-Jet (ATJ) technology, it stands poised to become a pivotal player in both domestic energy transition and the global clean fuels supply chain.</p>
